I provide therapy to teens, adults, couples and families, and have various therapeutic specialties. Therapy is most commonly provided in 50-minute individual, couple or family sessions, though some sessions may be longer as needed. I see clients both in person and by video appointment, using HIPPA-compliant software. Video therapy is available to clients who are located throughout California.
I am qualified to supervise Marriage and Family Therapist interns, Associate Clinical Social Workers and Professional Clinical Counselor Interns as they obtain the required 3,000 hours to sit for the Board of Behavioral Sciences licensing exam in California. If you are on your road to licensure and have an interest in one of my specialty areas, you’re encouraged to reach out to see how we can work together toward achieving your goal.
Fees and Insurance
My fee is currently $150 per 50-minute hour. Cash, check, and all major credit cards are accepted (processed via Square and Stripe). Financial resources should not be an obstacle to receiving therapy. I do have a limited number of sliding scale spaces available. I also employee and supervise Meri Mitsuyoshi (IMF88978), who may be able to offer lower fees.
I accept claims from the State of California Victim Compensation Program (CalVCP) and participate in the LYRA Employee Assistance Program.
I do not participate in any public or private commercial insurance plans at this time. For clients who are part of a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) and are interested in using their insurance, I can provide a “superbill,” a statement that you can submit to your insurance company at the end of each month to receive reimbursement.
